Morning: Arrive in Da Nang, one of Vietnam’s rapidly growing coastal cities. Depending on your flight schedule, take some time to settle into your hotel and refresh. Afterward, head straight to My Khe Beach, known for its soft, sandy shores and gentle waves. It’s one of the most beautiful beaches in the country and perfect for unwinding after your journey. Relax, dip into the ocean, or try water activities like surfing or paddleboarding. Afternoon: Grab lunch at one of the many seaside restaurants near My Khe Beach and indulge in fresh seafood. Try banh xeo (crispy Vietnamese pancakes) or goi cuon (spring rolls) to kick off your culinary journey. After lunch, visit the Marble Mountains, a cluster of limestone and marble hills that are home to Buddhist shrines, caves, and impressive viewpoints. Climb to the top for panoramic views of Da Nang’s coast and the surrounding countryside. Evening: As the sun sets, make your way to Dragon Bridge, an iconic landmark in Da Nang. Every weekend evening, the bridge breathes fire and water, offering a spectacular display. Have dinner nearby and enjoy the vibrant riverside atmosphere before heading back to your hotel.

Morning: After breakfast, take a short drive (roughly 30 minutes) to Hoi An, a UNESCO World Heritage-listed town known for its well-preserved architecture and charming streets. Begin your day with a leisurely stroll through the Ancient Town. Admire the iconic Japanese Covered Bridge, visit Phuc Kien Assembly Hall, and explore traditional merchant houses. Afternoon: For lunch, treat yourself to some of Hoi An’s signature dishes like Cao Lau (pork noodles) or Banh Mi from one of the local street vendors. After lunch, head over to Tra Que Vegetable Village, just outside of Hoi An. Learn about organic farming methods and even participate in planting or harvesting if you're interested. It’s a peaceful experience, allowing you to immerse yourself in local agricultural traditions. Evening: As night falls, return to the Ancient Town for the Hoi An Lantern Festival (if your visit coincides with the lunar calendar). The town lights up with hundreds of colourful lanterns, creating a magical atmosphere along the Thu Bon River. Set a floating lantern on the river for good luck and dine at a riverside restaurant with a view of the glowing lanterns.

Afternoon: For lunch, visit Hoi An Market, where you can sample a variety of local foods in the bustling food court. Try white rose dumplings or com ga (chicken rice), both famous in the region. In the afternoon, join a cooking class to learn how to prepare Vietnamese dishes using fresh ingredients from the local market. Many classes include a boat ride along the river and a trip to the market to buy ingredients. This hands-on experience will deepen your appreciation for Vietnamese cuisine. Evening: For dinner, head to Hoi An’s Night Market, where you can savour street food and shop for souvenirs like handcrafted lanterns, clothing, and ceramics. Wander through the lit-up streets, and if you haven’t already, try Hoi An’s famous Banh Mi Phuong for a delicious end to your day.
